1. How do Scientists think Global Warming will Affect our future Generations in the long run?

   I like your first man-on-the-street question, but the other two might be best saved for experts. Do you think Joe Briefcase can really give an informed answer on either (2) or (3)? You might want to try (individually or as a group) to develop some more man-on-the-street questions, ones that, say, YOU would feel comfortable answering, or maybe your parent or grandparent. Use people you know as templates: would THEY be able to answer the question?

   I agree with your article that talks about learning to adapt while at the same time learning how to stop or at least slow down global warming. I think more people are starting to see the need for recycling, driving less, leaving less of a mark on a earth.

   As far as someone to interview. Have you thought about asking someone from Green Peace or some other organization? Last summer my daughter went to a conference where she learned about lobbying. It was sponsored by Seventh Generation, they make enviromentally sound cleaning products, and run by Green Peace. They staged a “protest’ at the Capital. Each student sat in a red chair to bring attention to global warming. Then they went and tried to take the chair to their congressman. They wouldn’t let my daughter bring her chair in but she did get to talk to her congressman’s enviromental advisor. I will see if I can find an article or link. Keep up the good work! Mrs. T.

   I googled enviromental organizations and found both goverment and private organizations. Maybe we could get someone to come to school or do a phone interview??? Let me know if I can help! Mrs. T.

   I just posted some information about us contacting Peopole.
   If you have any names other then the News stations i would love to know so i can tell my class and maybe get an interview.
