When I started working on this documentary I did not know too much about Global Warming. I knew it was an issue and it was causing the earth to get hotter and ice caps to melt but I did not understand how important it was to preserve our environment and that it really is important to make sure you do your part in helping, such as recycling, riding a bike or walking instead of driving or riding the bus. All these things I realized make a difference and if just a handful of high school kids can start making a difference then in years to come we are giving our kids and their kids a better life and the same if not more things then we had.

Sounds like the subject matter and your research had an effect on you. There is a power in taking control of your actions and recognizing that your choices influence others and the world around you.

It was a pleasure to get to know you this semester, Jacquelyn.

Please tell your grandmother that it was a pleasure to meet her and thank her so much for coming to our viewing.

    Have a great summer
